19thC French Walnut Console Table

This 19thC French Walnut Console Table is both elegantly designed and well made. The front supports show a generous sweep, with a fretted design on the knee adding lightness. Standing on the well-turned front feet, with a generous lower shelf to the base, and being of a good weight to aid stability.

The beautifully dovetailed drawer is of a good useable size. The piece is veneered in well-chosen figured Walnut that has mellowed to a gorgeous warm hue. The Marble top adds useability and displays some minor marks and scratches as to be expected of a piece of this age.

This piece would work equally well in both a traditional as well as a more contemporary décor.
