19thC Pair of French Walnut Fauteuils/Armchairs

This19thC Pair of French Walnut Fauteuils are both generous in proportions as well as being extremely comfortable. The flowing lines of the Walnut frames are enhanced by the addition of detailed carved embellishments.

The Walnut has mellowed to a wonderful warm hue, showing good patination. With not a straight line in these chairs, helping to give the impression of an organic form, they would work well in both a traditional or indeed a contemporary room setting. The fabric is of a floral design, with complimentary tones, that really enhance the Walnut. The decorative studs used to finish off the upholstery add further design interest.
