This Good Quality 19thC French Mahogany Console Table in the Empire taste is of a good usable size. The well figured Mahogany veneer, displaying a richness of colour, contrasts so well with the ormolu mounts. The concave front of the lower shelf adds a further design element, alongside the substantial front columns that are finished off with finely chased ormolu mounts.

The concealed centre drawer, reassuringly oak lined giving further evidence of the quality of this piece, offers useful storage space, and has a finely chased ormolu mount to the front. The marble top adds practicality to the piece.

Due to its restrained design this Console Table would work in either a contemporary or more traditional interior décor, being not only very useful but also highly decorative.
