This Good Quality Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Writing Table is not only a very stylish piece of furniture but is also incredibly practical. Standing on tapered legs, which have both a line inlay as well as a Marquetry motif at the top of the front ones, finishing with a porcelain wheeled brass castor. The four drawers benefit from Satinwood crossbanding decoration, with the decorative handles adding further appeal.

The top is both crossbanded as well as line inlaid and has a fine quality tooled Parchment hide writing surface, a neutral colour that will fit in with so many decorative colour schemes. The sides as well as the back are also line inlaid, allowing this table to be placed in the centre of a room and admired from any angle. The kneehole is decorated with inlaid corner brackets, but still offers a good clearance height for sitting comfortably.

This Writing Table is presented in superb, restored condition, with the rich Mahogany contrasting so sharply with the lighter inlay decoration, as well as the buffed brassware.

Supplied with working key.
