Serpentine Fronted Three Drawer Table
Description
This early 19thC Mahogany Three Drawer Writing Table has the most wonderful patina to it and wears its age with pride! With a generous serpentine shape to the front, accentuating the curvature of the drawer fronts which are themselves veneered in a wonderful figured Mahogany. The drawers themselves are oak lined, a sure sign of good quality. The stopped fluted leg decoration is a lovely refined feature, as is the very fine crossbanded decoration to the drawer fronts.
The shaped top, echoing the shape of the front, is finished with a gloriously distressed faded green hide top, with blind tooling decoration. A very stylish piece of very useful antique furniture.
Supplied with working keys.
