This Victorian Walnut Bonheur Du Jour is of the highest quality and is presented in superb condition. The figured Walnut veneer, complimented by the generous amount of Tulipwood cross banding and Boxwood marquetry inlay, shows off the piece’s stylish curves and elegant shape. The writing surface has a tooled Burgundy hide, and the mirrored cupboard door opens to reveal an interior that is lined out in a sumptuous dark red crushed velvet.

The full compliment of original finely cast ormolu mounts, are the icing on the cake of this visual feast. With the seven small drawers, large centre drawer and cupboard with shelf, there is a surprising amount of useful storage space too.
