Description

This Early 18thC Inlaid Walnut Chest of Drawers not only offers a large amount of storage but does so in a very stylish way. The Walnut has taken on a glorious honey hue, that subtly contrasts with the inlaid lines. The 8 drawers are arranged in a rare configuration that works so well.

Showing good patination and wearing its age with pride, whilst looking all the better for it! The generous brass handles also help to lift the piece stylistically. Being of a straightforward design without too many embellishments this piece would work well in both a traditional or indeed a contemporary interior design equally as well. Sure, to make an impression wherever it is placed in a room.

Signs of old woodworm holes in areas of the front rails only but long since gone and have been treated to make absolutely sure there is no further activity, but no more than you would normally expect of a piece of this vintage.

All the drawers run smoothly, and the chest is structurally sound, just waiting for a new owner to add their own piece of history to the piece.

Supplied with working keys.
